Ahead of the Pack Learning was born out of frustration with a system that was never designed to help kids reach their full potential — only to process them through it.

Every day we'd pick up our kids from school and ask the same question: "What did you learn today?" And more often than not, the answer was the same — "Nothing." Not because they weren't smart, not because they weren't capable, but because the system genuinely wasn't teaching them anything worth remembering.

What were they coming home with? Bad language, bad attitudes, and bad behaviors picked up from other kids that no five or seven-year-old should even know exist. We watched our boys go from curious and bright to frustrated, short-tempered, and constantly at each other's throats. We just thought that's how kids were at this age and that was far from the truth.

The moment we pulled them out and started homeschooling, everything changed. The fighting between brothers dropped off. They got calmer, more thoughtful, more cooperative. They stopped being angry all the time — because they weren't spending six hours in an environment that was stressing them out. And academically, they took off faster than we ever expected.

Private school wasn't an option for us. We just couldn't afford to pay $25,000–$50,000 a year so our kids could get a proper education, so we built it ourselves.
